The GE DS200IQXDG1A is an Inverter Snubber Card part of GE’s Mark V Speedtronic Control Systems—used for medium-to-large gas/steam turbines and the EX2000 subset of Mark V. As a revised variant of its base model, its core role is mitigating switching transients in inverters: it uses passive components to suppress voltage spikes, absorb excess switching energy, and reduce EMI, protecting power semiconductors and ensuring stable inverter operation.
Physically, it is a small board with corner mounting holes, featuring four connection terminals, two vertical pin headers, five stab-on connectors, three heat sinks with transistors, and two WIMA FKP 1 polypropylene capacitors. The Mark V’s triple redundancy lets it operate without turbine shutdown during component repair.
